About Georgica Pool Co.
Georgica Pool Co. is a swimming-pool referral service for the 9 South Fork towns of the Hamptons, NY, launched in 2026 and run from the East End. It is not a pool company and is not connected to any pool builder, service company or property of a similar name: it finds a pool owner the right licensed, insured local pool specialist for the job and puts the two in touch, free for the homeowner, with the company calling within one business day.

Georgica Pool Co. does one thing: when a Hamptons pool needs someone, we find the right someone and put the two of you in touch. We do not open pools, fix heaters, or pour gunite ourselves. The company takes its name from the pond, not the water in any backyard, and it is not connected to any pool company, builder, or property that shares the name.
A pool is a calendar, not a purchase
A pool reads like a single decision — gunite or vinyl, $90,000 or $40,000 — but that is the smallest part of owning one. The real commitment is the calendar: an opening every spring, a closing every fall, and a middle that has to be managed even when nobody is home. Open too late and the water warms with no circulation, exactly what algae needs — the rule is to start the pump once air holds above 70°F, before anyone would swim. Close too early and you trap that warm water under a cover for six months. Get the calendar right and the pool behaves; get it wrong and it opens green.
Closing, opening, and the months in between
We cover the two dates that bookend the season and what goes wrong between them. Weekly service keeps a pool swimmable for an owner who is only there Friday to Sunday — testing, skimming, the equipment check that catches a failing pump before it becomes a green pool in August. Heaters, leaks, and salt cells are the calls in between. Renovation, resurfacing, and new construction run on a slower clock — plaster is good for about a decade, a Long Island vinyl liner for eight to ten years, and the companies that do that work well are booked months ahead, because a Hamptons pool has a short season to be wrong in.
Who we send, and who we don't
Before we send anyone, we check for a current Suffolk County Home Improvement Contractor licence with its pool endorsement, liability and workers' compensation insurance, local references, and a track record. A weekly-service crew, a gunite builder, and a leak specialist are three different businesses; excellent at one is not automatically right for another. One licensed, insured pool specialist who works your town calls you back within one business day. Nobody else gets your number.
What it costs
Nothing, for homeowners. Participating pool companies pay us a referral fee for the introduction. You pay the company for the work, on their quote, and we do not sell your details to anyone.
Where our numbers come from
Pool pricing here has a reputation, and the way to answer a reputation is with sources, not adjectives. Our 2026 ranges come from the Suffolk County Water Authority's own rate page, the state's pool-alarm bulletin, a Hamptons company's own published prices, and the trade's national cost guides, each named rather than blended into one number. When two sources disagree, as they do on a salt cell's price by close to a factor of nine, we print both; where we could not source a figure at all, a pool-density count for the South Fork, an automatic cover's lifespan, we say so instead of guessing. Georgica Pool Co. launched in 2026 and is run from the East End. We are new and small; tell us if something here is wrong and we will fix it.
Georgica Pool Co. is a Hamptons pool referral service, not a pool company or pool builder. We put homeowners in touch with independent, licensed and insured pool specialists; the company you hire performs the work, provides the quote and carries the warranty. Our service is free for homeowners; participating companies pay us a referral fee. Published cost figures are 2026 Long Island or national ranges with sources listed in our guides, not quotes.
