Who we are

Georgica Pool Co. ("we", "us") operates this website as a referral service: we put homeowners in touch with one independent, licensed and insured pool specialist for their project. Georgica Pool Co. does not perform the work described on this site.

What we collect

When you submit the "Book a Hamptons pool specialist" form on this site, we collect:

• Name, email and phone number, so we and the contractor we put you in touch with can reach you.
• Property address or town, so we can find a pool specialist who works in your area and so that contractor knows where the job is.
• Project details you provide (the type of work, timing, and any notes), so we and that contractor can understand the job before calling you.

We also automatically record technical information needed to operate the site and prevent abuse — your IP address, browser/user-agent, and basic session information — at the time you submit the form.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to:

• Find one independent contractor who works in your area and is a fit for the job.
• Share your submission with that one contractor and with Georgica Pool Co.'s operator, so the contractor can contact you about your project.
• Keep a record of the referral for our own business records — for example, tracking whether a referral led to completed work.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with that one contractor and Georgica Pool Co.'s own operator — never with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that does not collect personal data and does not track you across other websites. Plausible tells us in aggregate how many people visit this site and which pages they view; it cannot identify you individually.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — which pages get read, and where people click, scroll and hesitate — shown to us as heatmaps and replays of individual visits. Clarity does not capture what you type into the "Book a Hamptons pool specialist" form: text fields and drop-downs are masked before anything is sent to Microsoft, and we mask the whole form as well. Clarity sets cookies — _clck and _clsk on this site (a pseudonymous id that links the pages of one visit and recognises the same browser if it comes back), and Microsoft's own CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM cookies on Microsoft domains. Microsoft handles this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you block cookies in your browser, Clarity sets none and the site works exactly the same.

Who else sees this data (service providers)

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and get your request to the right contractor. Each only sees the data it needs to do its job, and none of them may use what you submit in the form for their own purposes:

• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Supabase — stores our database, including submitted leads.
• Resend — sends the email notification when you submit the form.
• CallRail — tracks calls made to our published phone number, so we know a call came from this site.
• Cloudflare — provides domain name service (DNS) and anti-spam protection for this site.
• Microsoft (Clarity) — records how visitors use the site, as described under Analytics; it never receives what you type into the form.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your request and keep records of referrals, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
